Manage formcel from Zed

Connect Zed to the formcel console with MCP. Create instances, change packages, invite your team and add domains just by asking.

Add formcel to Zed

Add formcel under context_servers in Zed's settings.json. Without an Authorization header, Zed asks you to sign in to formcel in the browser.

{
  "context_servers": {
    "formcel": {
      "url": "https://console.formcel.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Sign in and click Allow

Zed opens your browser, you sign in to the formcel console and click Allow. There is no API key to copy, and you can disconnect it any time under Account → Connected apps.

What Zed can do

List and create organizations and instances, check addresses, compare and change packages, invite team members, add custom domains, read usage and billing, and open or reply to support requests.

What stays with you

Zed acts as you, with your role in each organization. It can't terminate or open instances, change roles or security settings, or take payments. When a card is needed, it gives you a Stripe Checkout link to open yourself.

Things to ask Zed

Create a new instance for a client
Check whether an address is still free
Preview and change an instance's package
Invite a colleague to your organization
Add a custom domain and list its DNS records
Show usage against your package limits
