The doors are open: formcel is now available to everyone

On March 21 we opened a small door and asked a few teams to come in.

You did not come in a few at a time. You came in by the thousands.

Today, private beta is over. formcel is open to everyone.

Seven months, in numbers

  • 15,000+ companies now run on formcel, each on its own dedicated instance with its own dedicated databases.
  • 400,000+ people sign in to build forms, fill PDFs, collect signatures, run workflows and answer their inbox.
  • Nearly five times the people we counted just eight weeks ago, when we wrote about our first six months.
  • 1,000,000+ forms built on formcel.
  • 67,000,000+ submissions collected through those forms.
  • 150,000,000+ emails sent.

Behind every one of those numbers is a clinic, an agency, a school, a startup or a team of one that trusted a beta product with real work. We do not take that for granted.

Thank you

To everyone who signed up early, before there was a pricing page to compare or a review to read: thank you for taking the chance.

To everyone who filed a bug at midnight, sent a feature request with a screenshot attached, or wrote in just to say something worked: thank you. Your messages landed with the people writing the code, and you can see your fingerprints all over the product.

To everyone who stayed through the rough edges, the late fixes and the onboarding batches: thank you for your patience. You shaped formcel more than any roadmap did.

This launch is yours as much as it is ours.

What changes today

  • No waitlist. Anyone can sign up and start building in minutes.
  • No request forms. No batches, no invites, no waiting for an email.
  • Pick your region and your data lives there from day one.

Introducing the formcel console

Opening the doors needed a front door. So alongside public sign-up, we are releasing the formcel console: one place to run your instances, your team and your billing.

  • Launch an instance in a few clicks. Pick a plan, choose your yourname.formcel.com address and a region, and watch it come to life. Need more? Each organization can run several instances, each with its own dedicated databases.
  • Open it as yourself. One click signs you straight into any instance under your own named user. No shared admin passwords.
  • Bring your team. Invite people as Owner, Admin, Billing or Member, work across several organizations, and see who did what in the activity log.
  • Secure from the first sign-in. Magic links, Google or Microsoft sign-in, passkeys and authenticator-app MFA, with sign-in checked again before you open an instance or recover access.
  • Billing that makes sense (coming soon). Per-instance pricing, monthly or annual, upgrades that apply right away and downgrades at the end of the period, with invoices ready to download as PDFs.
  • Grow on your terms. Custom domains on Business and up, usage meters with alerts before you hit a limit, and a GDPR or HIPAA compliance profile per instance. Signing your DPA or BAA right in the console is coming soon.
  • Help, built in. Open a support request tied to the instance it is about, and follow the whole conversation in one thread.

Everything we used to do for you by hand during beta, you can now do yourself, any time of day.

What never changes

Opening the doors does not change the deal we made on day one.

Every customer, on every plan, still gets a dedicated instance with its own dedicated databases. More customers means more instances, not more neighbors on yours. Encryption, MFA, passkeys and audit logs remain the foundation, not an upsell.

Enterprise power, for everybody. That was the idea in March. It is the promise today.

What comes next

We will keep listening the way we did in beta, keep shipping the features you ask for, and keep putting reliability and security first. The inbox is still open, and it still reaches the people writing the code.

Seven months ago this was a belief. 15,000 companies and 400,000 people later, it is a platform.

Welcome to formcel. We are so glad you are here.

Sign up, open the console and build with us.
