formcel is in private beta

Today we are opening formcel to our first private beta users.

For decades, the best data tools have belonged to the companies that could afford them. Dedicated infrastructure. Isolated databases. Single sign-on, audit trails, data residency. If you had a six-figure budget and a procurement department, you got the good stuff. Everyone else got a shared server, a row in someone else's database, and an upsell page.

We think that is backwards.

The problem

A clinic collecting patient intake forms deserves the same isolation as a bank. A two-person agency deserves the same uptime as a Fortune 500. A school deserves to choose where its data lives.

Yet most form and workflow tools are built the same way: every customer packed into one shared stack. One noisy neighbor slows everyone down. One misconfigured query leaks across tenants. And the features that would fix it are locked behind an "Enterprise — Contact Sales" button.

Security should not be a pricing tier.

What we are building

formcel is a data platform for everyone. Forms, PDFs, e-signatures, workflows, spreadsheets, an inbox and an app builder — one platform, built on infrastructure that used to be reserved for the largest companies in the world.

  • Your own instance. Every customer, on every plan, gets dedicated compute and dedicated databases. Nothing is shared.
  • Your region, your rules. Pick where your data lives, from the US and Europe to Asia-Pacific.
  • Secure by design. Encryption at rest and in transit, MFA, passkeys and audit logs are the foundation, not add-ons.
  • No artificial limits. We charge for what costs us money, not for features we could switch on for free.

Why now

The cloud made dedicated infrastructure cheap. Nobody passed the savings on. Legacy vendors kept their shared architectures and their enterprise markups, because that is what their business is built on.

We started from a blank page. When isolation is the architecture instead of an upgrade, it costs almost nothing to give it to everyone. So we do.

What private beta means

We are onboarding teams in small batches so we can listen closely, fix fast and get the fundamentals right before the public launch. Beta users shape the roadmap directly — every piece of feedback lands with the people writing the code.

Enterprise power, for everybody. That is the whole idea.
